Claims that rapper Nelly sexually assaulted a fan after a gig within the UK have been formally reported to police.
The assault is alleged to have occurred after Nelly’s present on the Cliffs Pavilion, Southend on 5 December.
An Essex Police spokesman stated the pressure had began an investigation after a lady reported she had been “sexually assaulted”.
He stated: “Enquiries are ongoing.” Nelly has denied the allegations.
