The Rolling Stones’ current tour is titled No Filter.
But Mick Jagger looks determined to show why it should be renamed No-one Fitter.
Certainly the band’s singer must be the fittest 74-year-old rock star who has ever lived.
He wowed fans at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Friday night with another amazingly energetic performance.
The group flew into the city by helicopter.
The singer tweeted, “Entering Wales by the Severn Bridge” – with film from the air as they avoided the toll.
Jagger’s social media use has come into the spotlight lately.
He may have penned some top songs but when it comes to comments on his son’s Instagram page it’s hardly rock ‘n’ roll…
The 74-year-old legend does his best embarrassing dad act with a string of dull messages on photos of Lucas.
In one brooding shot of the 19-year-old standing by the shore, Mick wrote: “Watch out for the water.”
In another, he described a snap of Lucas looking at a sunset as a “cool pic”.
On an image of Lucas and pals at Lollapalooza festival in San Paulo, Brazil, his dad posted: “Looks like fun ha!”
And he repeats the sentiment on a group shot of him with mates. But then when your father is one of the world’s most famous rockers with millions of fans across the world, perhaps the lad is not too fussed about the posts.
Lucas also pops comments on Mick’s Instagram page, too. Under one picture of the Rolling Stones singer waving a guitar, he wrote: “Pls don’t let that fall.”
